OEC Course Description

Outdoor Emergency Care is a comprehensive first aid course for non-urban settings. It is designed for outdoor people involved in ski patrolling, backcountry skiing, camping, hiking, or climbing who desire to help themselves or others in emergency medical situations that occur in remote locations. OEC is a required course for all ski patrol candidates. BMNSP usually teaches or helps to teach a OEC course in the fall, starting soon after Labor Day.

The 2008 OEC refresher course will be held in early October .
